As my team had preformed, I felt as hopeful as I had been that whole competition. My father had told me, “Your team willmake to the second round.” We proceeded to a team lunch at Chipotles and quickly headed back to the university. Soon after, there was the special awards judging. With our luck, the motor system broke down and our whole team huddled behind the backdrop. We rushed to fix the broken system, but it didn’t budge. We had to talk for the judges, although we couldn’t show the system. We finally fixed the motor (replaced it). We had low hopes for our this section. Maybe..Just maybe…We could make it…
